Amit N. Anand, M.D.
Dr. Amit Anand is board certified in Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Internal Medicine and is board eligible for Sleep Medicine. He was a faculty member in the Division of Pulmonary Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston, MA and instructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School prior to joining Pulmonary Associates of St. Augustine in July 2005.
Dr. Anand is an instructor in Primordial Sound Meditation and Hatha Yoga. He has a special interest in incorporating yogic breathing techniques for treatment of certain disease states. Dr. Anand is the author of several papers and chapters in pulmonary and sleep journals and books. He is actively involved with the ICU and Pulmonary committees at Flagler hospital.
Dr. Anand is married and has two children, Varun and Maya. His wife, Genevieve, is an Internist specializing in Public Health.
